Ashitaba has a nutritional profile more extensive than the healthiest vegetable but has a pleasant green-tea-like flavor. Ashitaba in Japanese translates to “Tomorrow’s Leaf” because if a leaf was picked today, a new leaf would sprout by tomorrow.
